Absolutely: “I will absolutely be there in time to see your presentation,” said Ally
Immediately: John immediately called police after witnessing a robbery
Necessarily: “You don’t necessarily need to do question 5 and 6,” said the teacher.
Carefully: The doctor carefully stitched up the patient
Obstinately: The camp instructor obstinately read out the camp rules
Voluntarily: Sally voluntarily washed all the windows in the house
Sensibly: The students at school went through sex education sensibly
Efficiently: Sam efficiently cleaned his room
Franticly: I franticly ran home in excitement to see my new puppy
Optimistically: I optimistically made a statement that being blind strengthens all your others senses
Scientifically: Jacks presentation was very scientifically explained
Temporarily: Layla gave me a dress to borrow temporarily
Unbelievable: The magic trick that the magician performed was unbelievable!
Irretrievable: My pocket knife that was taken from me at the airport was irretrievable
Inflammable: All the clothes in my wardrobe are inflammable
Charitable: The old ladies society were very charitable
Irresistible: The hot lifesavers at the beach were irresistible
Resignation: The lady at the IGA store had to sign her resignation forms by the end of the week
Autonomous: the pencil sharpener was autonomous
Receivership: The performed speech was in the hands of the receivership

  1. Cladia, your responses to the advertisements are detailed and thorough. Well done. Don't forget to use a full stop at the end of each of your sentences when you use your spelling words in a sentence.

    I agree with Mrs Grehan. Your responses to the advertisements are very good. However, you have not yet posted all of the work that is needed.

    Please ensure that your letters to the editor, your bullying ad (with explanation) and your 100 word report on your current reading book are posted by no later than Thursday.
